Acceptable Use Policy

1. Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the hosting services provided by Aryeh & Associates ("we," "our," or "us"). By using our services, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violation of this policy may result in suspension or termination of your account without notice or refund.

2. Prohibited Content

You may not use our services to host, transmit, or distribute:

  • Illegal Content: Content that violates any applicable laws or regulations, including but not limited to content related to fraud, money laundering, or illegal activities
  • Copyright Infringement: Content that infringes on intellectual property rights, including pirated software, music, videos, or other copyrighted materials
  • Harmful Content: Malware, viruses, trojans, worms, or any code designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to systems
  • Adult Content: Explicit adult content, pornography, or sexually explicit material (unless explicitly permitted in your hosting plan)
  • Hate Speech: Content that promotes violence, discrimination, or hatred against individuals or groups based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics
  • Defamatory Content: Content that is libelous, slanderous, or defamatory

3. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

3.1 Spam and Unsolicited Communications

  • Sending unsolicited bulk emails (spam)
  • Operating mailing lists without proper opt-in/opt-out mechanisms
  • Harvesting email addresses from websites
  • Using our services to send phishing emails or fraudulent communications

3.2 Network Abuse

  • Launching denial-of-service (DoS) or distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks
  • Port scanning, network probing, or unauthorized access attempts
  • Overloading our infrastructure or consuming excessive resources
  • Using automated scripts or bots that place undue burden on our systems

3.3 Security Violations

  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data
  • Interfering with or disrupting the security or integrity of our services
  • Distributing tools designed to compromise security
  • Violating the security of any third-party system or network

3.4 Resource Abuse

  • Consuming excessive CPU, memory, disk space, or bandwidth
  • Running resource-intensive applications without appropriate hosting plans
  • Using shared hosting resources for cryptocurrency mining or similar activities
  • Operating file-sharing or peer-to-peer networks

4. Email Policy

When using our email services, you must:

  • Comply with anti-spam laws, including CAN-SPAM Act and GDPR
  • Include accurate sender information and unsubscribe mechanisms
  • Not send emails to recipients who have opted out
  • Not use our services to send emails that violate this AUP

We reserve the right to limit the number of emails sent per account to prevent abuse and ensure service quality for all customers.

5. Resource Limits

Each hosting plan includes specific resource limits (CPU, memory, disk space, bandwidth). You must not exceed these limits or attempt to circumvent them. If you require additional resources, please upgrade to an appropriate plan or contact us for custom solutions.

We monitor resource usage and may suspend accounts that consistently exceed limits or impact other customers' services.

6. Backup and Data Responsibility

While we perform regular backups, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups of your data and content. We are not liable for data loss, regardless of the cause. We recommend maintaining off-site backups of critical data.

7. Compliance with Laws

You must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations when using our services. This includes laws related to data protection, privacy, consumer protection, and intellectual property.

8. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it immediately to abuse@aryehandassociates.com. Include as much detail as possible, including URLs, timestamps, and evidence of the violation.

9. Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate any suspected violation of this AUP. Violations may result in:

  • Warning notifications
  • Temporary suspension of services
  • Permanent termination of your account
  • Legal action, if necessary

We may take immediate action, including suspension or termination, without prior notice if we determine that your use of our services poses a threat to our infrastructure, other customers, or violates applicable laws.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
